We’re on Calder Road, so 15-20 minutes out.
A wee reminder that we’ll keep kids on the bus until all suitcases have been unloaded. It would be greatly appreciated if families could help by grabbing any suitcase and taking it into the playground. Thank you.
After an impromptu stop at House of Bruar for some bus maintenance and toilets, at 12:15 we’re 50 mins away. Hoping to arrive between 13:00- 13:15.
We’re off! We’ll send another update once we’re over the Queensferry Crossing with an estimated arrival time. See you soon.
Dear Families
Please be advised that two coaches will bring the P7 pupils back from Lagganlia this afternoon. They will reverse along Sciennes Road and park across from the old Sick Kids hospital. Estimated Arrival Time (ETA) is 12.30pm – 1.00pm, but very much depends on traffic. Updates on journey times will be posted on our Lagganlia blog:
https://scienneslagganlia2022.wordpress.com and we will text if there is a significant delay.
Luggage will be loaded at random onto the coaches at Lagganlia so we would greatly appreciate any help in taking any suitcase into the playground. Once the luggage has been unloaded, the children will depart the coaches.

Primary Sevens have been a real credit to families and to the school and made an entirely positive impression on Lagganlia staff, which bodes well for high school. A genuine delight for our staff to spend time with them – their enthusiasm and joy have been a welcome infection for everyone!
Thank you to our staff team, to Miss McGrouther, Acting DHT, for successfully leading the trip and to you for your support.
Tonight, we were lucky enough to be the first school to get the Thursday night disco here at Lagganlia since the start of the pandemic. The staff managed to rustle us up some lights so that we could celebrate the end of a successful week at camp with some dancing. As you can see, a great time was had by all.
And for those that didn’t fancy a dance, we made use of the new Smart boards in the lodges where kids could choose to chill with a movie.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. We’ll send updates with an estimated arrival time in the morning.
So far, so good!
The kids have had a brilliant few days of cycling, abseiling, gorge walking, skiing, climbing and adventuring in the hills.
We have LOADS of fab photos which we’re excited to share with you and the kids but we will do so on our return, as phone reception is very limited.
In the meantime, please enjoy a little snapshot.
Just a little update to say that we’re all having a great time here in Lagganlia. We’re onto our second full day of activities and will try to add a few photos later tonight. The kids are happy, participating fully and are sleeping and eating well.
